The Idaxis SecurePIV Pro Mag is a compact USB-C CAC and PIV smart card reader designed for secure authentication from mobile devices and computers.

Its magnetic mounting case securely attaches the reader to compatible smartphones and phone cases, keeping the reader and credential together during mobile use. This makes the SecurePIV Pro Mag particularly well suited for military, government and field applications where a conventional desktop smart card reader can be inconvenient.

When mobile use is not required, simply remove the reader from its magnetic case and connect it to a USB-C equipped laptop or other compatible device. The short, right-angle USB-C cable provides a compact connection without a long cable getting in the way.
