SCB Solutions Launches Single Sign-On Targeting 200 Million HID PROX Cards Arlington, VA, August 23, 2005 – SCB Solutions, one of the world leaders in single sign-on technology is launching a new version of its SCB Access software that is designed to work with standard HID proximity cards. With over 200 million HID proximity cards in the market, end-users have been seeking an affordable logical access solution. Using existing proximity cards for logical access without the need to re-badge has never been easier or more affordable. SCB Access™ PROX Version handles HID 26-bit format and Corporate 1000 format and everything in between. SCB Access is an affordable solution for Secure Logon and Single Sign-On applications. A user can access a PC or an application by inserting or swiping a smart card and entering a PIN code. With SCB Access, user names and passwords are securely encrypted. User names and passwords are then submitted automatically to the appropriate applications. Users need to remember only one password to unlock their card.
